I bet not many people have heard of such thing as armchair bathtub? Of course, that would make sense. Even though such bathtubs do exist, people will not know much about it because of the little amount of furniture with that kind of design. Armchair Bathtub’s Minimalist Style

Inspired to be different than the rest, Thomas Linssen decided to create a bathtub with armchair. This armchair bathtub by Thomas Linssen has a style that cannot be easily compared with any other bathtub, and it is not because of the armchair only. The armchair that is located at the front bottom part of the bathtub extends it’s all the way to the smallest corner of the bathtub’s exterior part. This way, the armchair creates a cage-like wooden frame that supports the bathtub from the bottom to the top. Of course, this is not only a supporter because the bathtub looks more unique this way.

What about the shape of the bathtub? Of course, it totally fits the “cage” made by the armchair! The bathtub, made with white porcelain, has a smaller front part that extends then creates a larger back part of the tub. The front part of the tub has a backrest the resident can lean on every time they are taking a bath. The thin tube that connects the tub with the water is placed at the side of the tub, having a metallic material that matches the tub.
